SR Architects Ltd. was commissioned in 2013 to design and deliver through planning and construction a refurbished and enlarged split-level dwelling located on a sloping site overlooking the World Heritage City of Bath.

The original house was an individually styled 1960s three-bedroom contemporary form, highly unusual for the Bath environment of that time. The clients wished to transform and enlarge the house to accommodate a larger family group, fully updating the existing fabric in conjunction with the new extensions to create a dwelling of high thermal performance with crisp minimalist interiors and exterior facades.
