Sohrab is Managing Director of SR Architects Ltd, Bath and has nearly 20 years experience in the construction industry. He formed, SR Architects in 2003 and the Practice has already gained a reputation as a specialist within the healthcare and residential sectors, assisting numerous clients to achieve their objectives on a number of challenging and difficult sites. Since forming the practice, Sohrab and his team have completed a range of schemes from smaller house extensions, one-off residential developments and flats through to the £7M Priory Health Park redevelopment in Wells in 2004, the Kingskerswell Health Centre in Devon in 2005, the award-winning £29M Aldershot Centre for Health project in 2008, regarded as being one of the largest Primary Care centres in the UK, and more recently the Cranleigh Medical Practice in Surrey and the Benenden Hospital Main Entrance in Kent.

Sohrab also acts as a healthcare consultant to various Architectural Practices in the South West which has included working on the Oak Park Community Hospital and Children’s Services Unit under East Hampshire’s Local Initiative Finance Trust (LIFT) scheme, the 72,000m2 Torbay Hospital Integrated Care Network where close joint working arrangements enabled the achievement of a fully developed £210M facility and an Outline Business Case submission within 4 months, the Guildford Clinic for the Nuffield Organization, and an RIBA Award winning state-of-the-art neo-natal intensive care unit for the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

Prior to forming SR Architects, Sohrab led several larger healthcare schemes as Project Architect for another well-regarded practice which included the the 88-bed Chepstow Community Hospital which was one of the first PFI hospitals in Wales, the £280M Royal London Hospital PFI Project (1100 beds) which achieved Preferred Bidder status with AMEC, and the Frimley Park Ophthalmology Diagnosis Treatment Centre (DTC) which was ultimately completed in 2005.
