Phase one of bungalow refurbishment at Grove Leaze in Bradford-on-Avon gets underway.

Planning granted for house extension in Chipping Sodbury.

Planning is granted for two storey extension at a house in Batheaston.

Side and rear extension at Burnbank in Perrymead completes. 

The extension to the Breast Unit at the Royal United Hospitals NHS Trust, Bath, is underway on site.

With the exception of some landscaping elements in the garden, our whole house refurbishment of Budleigh in Surrey is complete.  Our clients moved back in around Easter and are thrilled with the outcome. Congratulations to MIB Construction for a achieving a high quality finish. 

We have lodged a planning application with Bath and North East Somerset for a new side and rear extension to a 1950’s semi-detached dwelling in Batheaston.  The extensions will expand living, kitchen and bedroom areas to create a lovely open feel.

The new Red Resus extension is open for patients concluding our fast track £2.5M project for the RUH Bath – all delivered in fewer than 9 months.  Much credit to CW Duke of Bristol, the main contractors, for operating a very proactive approach.  And the A&E staff of the Hospital deserve much praise for continuing to deliver their care in the midst of the unusual Covid pandemic and around the construction activities.  A great team effort overall!

Externals complete on the new Resus extension – air handling unit screen in place and finish groundworks complete.  Just a bit more to finish the interior, commission and open to use.

Construction of the new Trauma Assessment Unit extension for the RUH Bath Emergency Department concluded at the beginning of the month providing 5 assessment bays and a diagnostic scanning room to further relieve pressures on the overall A&E activities at the Hospital. 

The external works to the Red Resus extension are nearly complete with the installation of the new air handling equipment for this critical care area.  A screening element to the equipment will complete this phase of the extension work with internal construction ongoing.  Handover to the Trust is expected in mid-May for their fit-out.

At Perrymeade, the final external finishes are being worked out with construction of the stone faced terrace and the blackened timber cladding being installed.  We hope to have everything wrapped up in the next few weeks.
