Sohrab is Managing Director of SR Architects Limited, Bath and has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He formed, SR Architects Limited in 2003 and the Practice has gained a reputation as a specialist within the healthcare and residential sectors, assisting numerous clients to achieve their objectives on a number of challenging and difficult sites, and acted as a healthcare consultant to various Architectural Practices in the South West.

Since forming the practice, Sohrab and his team have completed a range of schemes from smaller house extensions, one-off residential developments and flats, including works to numerous Grade 1 and Grade 2 Listed Buildings. Healthcare projects include the Priory Health Park redevelopment in Wells, the Kingskerswell Health Centre in Devon, the award-winning Aldershot Centre for Health, regarded as still being one of the largest Primary Care centres in the UK, the new Cranleigh Medical Practice in Surrey and the Benenden Hospital Main Entrance in Kent. More recently, SR Architects has provided a consistent service to the Royal United Hospital in Bath on many refurbishment and smaller new-build construction projects across the hospital estate.

Prior to forming SR Architects Limited, Sohrab was the Project Architect on Chepstow Community Hospital, the £280m Royal London Hospital PFI Project with AMEC, and the Frimley Park Ophthalmology Diagnosis Treatment Centre (DTC).

Jem has been working in the architectural field for over 25 years. He joined SR Architects Limited in 2005 having trained and worked previously in the USA.

Throughout his time with SRA, he has been engaged in all of the firm’s various projects. These include in the healthcare sector, the award-winning Benenden Hospital Entrance, Cranleigh Medical Practice, Guildford Clinic and Aldershot Centre for Health. Much of the firm’s recent work has been focused at the Royal United Hospital in Bath and Jem has worked there to deliver new build and refurbishment projects in its Princess Ann Wing, A&E department and other inpatient and outpatient areas.

Additionally, Jem has been a key designer on many of the firm’s residential schemes – extensions, flats and houses: notably the award-winning Hill Rise in Bath, Carclew, Burnbank and Eagle Road, among the practice’s many schemes.

Prior to working for SRA, in the USA he played key roles in the design and construction of projects serving the public realm – transportation facilities, affordable multi-family residential developments as well as commercial and institutional projects for universities and bio-pharma entities.
