SR Architects were tasked with a large internal refurbishments project across 3 floors of a 5-storey Edwardian semi-detached dwelling on the eastern slopes of Bath.  These works included the transformation of the entire unused lower ground floor into an open plan kitchen dining area opening to a garden terrace and the introduction of a home gym studio.  Upstairs the existing kitchen was turned into a generous utility space and a new WC and shower room were added to the top floor.   We also obtained planning permission for some exterior changes – a new side porch and removal of a dilapidated garden conservatory to enable the kitchen to open out to the new terrace.  We also managed the tendering and construction phases with the clients in residence, completing the project in early 2019.
